Upon casting this spell you imbue a single arrow with the element of your choice from the following list (poison, fire, ice, acid, lightning, or thunder) and on a successful shot the target takes an additional 2d8 damage of the chosen type.

The spell deals an additional d8 when cast at a level above first.
