You telekinetically wield a one-handed weapon to attack your enemies. Choose a one-handed weapon in range that is not being carried or worn by someone else. If not held or worn by you, the weapon hovers in your space under your control and moves with you when not attacking. It retains its statistics, modifiers, and magical abilities.
You can direct the weapon to make a melee spell attack against a target of your choice within range. The weapon inflicts damage as though wielded by you, but adds your spellcasting ability modifier instead of your Strength modifier to the damage roll. Until the spell ends, you can use an action on each of your turns to direct the weapon to repeat this attack against the same target or a different one.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots, you gain additional attacks with the telekinetically wielded weapon: One additional attack with a 3rd-level slot, two additional attacks with a 6th-level slot, and three additional attacks with a 9th-level slot.
