You brandish an sword and make a melee attack with it against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects plus your spellcasting ability modifier of fire damage, and you can cause fire to leap from the target to a different creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of it. The second creature takes fire damage equal to 1d4. The creatures must make an constitution saving throw, on success, the fire damage will be halved.
At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the melee attack deals 1d6 in addition to your spellcasting ability modifier fire damage to the target on a hit, Both damage rolls increase by 1d6 and 1d4 at 11th level (2d6 and 2d4), and 17th level (3d6 and 3d4), respectively. From 11th level onwards you can cause fire damage to two creatures within 5 feet of the main target, instead of one.
Note: The color of the fire can be one from your choice.
