Comet Azur

A blue green swirling sphere of energy forms from the tip of your arcane focus, shrinking to a small point of energy that then erupts in a 5 ft cylinder that shoots forward in a 60 ft line or until it hits something that provides full cover and is not living such as a wall. If the object is destructable the beam can potentially punch through it if damage dealt surpasses the object's health.

When the beam comes in contact with anything it deals 8d8 force damage and will deal 8d8 for each subsequent round it stays in contact with the thing.

When cast with a spell slot of level 8 or higher the duration is increased by an additional 1 rounds and the damage is increased by 1d8 per level of spell slot higher than 7th.
