You perform a variant of a special religious ceremony that is infused with magic. When you cast the following rite the target must be within 10 feet of you throughout the casting.
To start the ceremony a lock of hair must be provided from the two adult creatures willing to be bonded together eternally. Powered gold is dusted over the two locks and the two once uniting hands begin to experience each others life as if they were in the eyes of the other. During this the gold and hair slowly meld together to form two rings. After the ceremony is done while still two have become one, they from here on out have an innate empathic bond. In addition for the next 7 days, each target gains a +2 bonus to AC while they are within 30 feet of each other.
A creature can benefit from this rite only once.
* - (25 gp worth of powdered gold and two locks of hair, which the spells consumes.)
