The caster can select a small object or 5ft square surface and increase the internal heat of that object. This can be used to boil water, create a cooking surface, or just keep an object warm. If used in combat or on a target touching a creature with the intent to harm any creature in contact with the object must make a Constitution saving throw. On failure the creature takes 1D6 of fire damage and if the object was held by the creature it is dropped. If a creature ends their turn in contact with the object the saving throw should be repeated.

If the creature has any kind of fire resistance the saving throw is an automatic success and takes no damage.

The maximum heat provided by this spell should be limited and not a replacement for any kind of heater greater than a campfire could provide.

Lore: Heat is widely considered a lesser sub school of more traditional flashy fire based skills. However, multiple historical records of greater pyromancers indicate that heat based magic is core to most fire based magics and as a pure casting type has many advantages over combustion based spells. Heat object was developed by Pryromancer Ashean as the lowest tier of heat magic in efforts to teach heat based spells.
