You target one creature within range and attempts to fill its head with visions from beyond the planes. The creature needs to succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be haunted by mental images for the duration. While under the influence of this spell the creature is horrified. After the spell ends the creature can attempt to break free from the horror by making a Charisma saving throw at the start of its turn.
Horrified: A creature cannot take any actions or reactions other than to protect itself. The creature has disadvantage on all Wisdom and Intelligence saving throws, as well as all ability checks and attack rolls. The creature is also unable to cast and maintain spells that require concentration. The creature can no longer use passive scores.
A creature immune to being frightened is also immune to being horrified, but resistance doesn't impose advantage against the status.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th or 9th level, you can extend the duration to 1 hour.* - (skin from an aberration)
