A swirling wind rises up around you, lashing out at your foes. A number of creatures you choose within range equal to 1 + your casting ability modifier (minimum 1) as targets. Until the start of your next turn, whenever you make a melee attack, each chosen creature takes your weapon damage in slashing damage. Use the same attack roll as the attack for each creature. Critical hits double the damage, but other effects besides weapon damage (such as sneak attacks, poison, smites etc.) only affect the attacked creature. The attacked creature can be one of the creatures chosen by the spell.
