A creature hit by the spell must succeed on a Strength or Dexterity saving throw or be restrained by the coiling whip until the start of the next round. A creature restrained by this spell can use its action to make a Strength or Dexterity check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself.

When the spell ends, the weapon's tassels return to it.
