You fold space in a location within range to push through the extraplanar boundaries.  A 30-ft. sphere vortex appears in that space, drawing in all matter like a vacuum cleaner.  Each creature in the vortex must make a Strength saving throw, taking 5d10 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.  On a failed save, a creature is drawn into the vortex, and teleports to a randomly determined destination on the other side of the portal.  A creature teleported in this way takes 3d12 force damage.

The DM chooses the plane of existance which the portal transports creatures to.  You can also try and choose the destination by making a successful DC 18 Intelligence (Arcana) check.  On a fail, you take 4d8 psychic damage, the spell fails, and you are stunned until the end of your next turn.  If the above does happen, the spell casts in 1d12 hours.  You have no control over the spell, and it doesn't take up your concentration.

As a bonus action, you can try to haul creatures into the vortex.  For a brief moment, the radius of the spell expands 20 feet in all directions, and the spell's damage temporarily increases by 2d8.

At Higher Levels.  When you cast this spell using a 7th-level spell slot or higher, the radius increases by 10 feet for each spell slot level above 6th.
