Grasping shackles and chains of searing radiance materialize, anchored from the ground in a 20-foot square starting from a point within range. For the duration, these animated manacles turn the ground in the area into difficult terrain and cause the area to become bathed in heat and radiance.
The area is filled with bright light that extends outward for 30-foot (creating an overall 50-foot square area of bright light) with a 60-foot area of dim light beyond that. A creature in the central area when you cast the spell or a creature who begins its turn within the area suffers 1d8 radiant damage.
Additionally, a creature in the area when you cast the spell must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the radiant chains until the spell ends. A creature restrained by the chains takes 2d8 radiant damage each round it remains restrained, however it can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself.
When the spell ends, the conjured chains, as well as the light, vanish.
