A fierce wind blows in from from the direction of the Great Elder creating a 2-mille-radius, 10-mile-high vortex centered on a point within range kicking up snow in the air and reducing visibility. Each creature in the cylinder must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature takes 4d4 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The area within the sphere is heavily obscured and the range of dark vision is reduced to 15 feet.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the cold damage increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
