A 15-foot-radius invisible sphere of a special form of antimagic surrounds an aberration you see within 60 ft. This creature is cut off from the abhorrent magics that make up this creature. Within the sphere, spells can't be cast, summoned creatures disappear, and any abnormal feature about the creature which stems from it not being from the material plane is temporarily revoked. Until the spell ends, the sphere moves with the creature, centered on this creature.
If the creature has a spellcasting ability, it is not able to do so, even to dispel this magic, though if the creature attempts to cast a spell, the slot is consumed, if the creature is able to fly without proper wings, it is unable to do so, etc. If a creature is caught in this zone that only has a fly speed, or was flying when it entered the zone, it falls prone and takes any necessary falling damage.
Targeted Effects. Other aberrations, such as beholders and slaad, are unable to affect the creature.
Areas of Magic. If the creature requires its otherworldly biology for important body functions, it will not die from this effect, merely going into a sort of suspended animation (i.e. if the creatures brain functions would cease due to this spell).
Spells. Any active spell or other magical effect on a creature or an object in the sphere is suppressed while the creature or object is in it.
Magical Travel. Teleportation and planar travel on the part of the creature fail to work in the sphere, whether the sphere is the destination or the departure point for such magical travel. A portal to another location, world, or plane of existence, as well as an opening to an extradimensional space such as that created by the rope trick spell, temporarily closes while in the sphere.
Creatures and Objects. A creature or object summoned or created by magic temporarily winks out of existence in the sphere. Such a creature instantly reappears once the space the creature occupied is no longer within the sphere.
Dispel Magic. Spells and magical effects such as dispel magic have no effect on the sphere.
