A brilliant ray of luminescence streaks from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range, there, in stunning silence, that mote of light bursts into an explosion of radiance. Each creature in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on that point is blinded until the end of your next turn, and must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 radiant damage, and the next attack roll made against the target before the end of your next turn has advantage, (thanks to the mystical dim light glittering on the target until then.) on a failed save, or half as much damage, and the target is not illuminated, on a successful one.
The radiance spreads around corners and pierces thin semi-opaque materials. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried, such as loose paper or saw dust.
