Until the spell ends, you control any open metal objects within 150 feet from the point of casting. You can choose from any of the following effects when you cast this spell. As an action on your turn, you can repeat the same effect or choose a different one.
Constant Attraction: Until the spell ends or if you choose a different effect, you can cause all open metallic objects to fly towards you at 30 feet per second. The objects stop within 3 feet of you and will continue to hover around you until the spell ends or you choose a different effect.
Fast Repel: Until the spell ends or if you choose a different effect, you can cause all open metallic objects within 150 feet of the casting point to rise up 5 feet and shoot outward until they reach the end of the casting range. The objects will continue to fly outward even if they hit any objects that are in their way.
Gear Golem: Until the spell ends or if you choose a different effect, you can cause all open metallic objects within 150 feet of the casting point to rise up and form a controllable golem that the caster can manipulate from the inside. This golem can be used to make attacks. Melee attacks with this golem have a +4 bonus. The AC of the controller is raised by a +6 bonus. The speed of the golem is half the speed of the caster, rounded up.
Steel Storm: Until the spell ends or if you choose a different effect, you can cause all open metallic objects within 150 feet of the casting point to rise up and spin rapidly in a clockwise formation. Any creature within 25 feet of a rapidly spinning metal object must succeed a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15). On a failed save, the creature takes 1d12 slashing damage and is knocked prone. On a success, the creature takes half damage.

Posted Apr 6, 2022Thank you so much! I put in a lot of effort to make this homebrew spell. I think it'll be pretty useful for campaigns that have a steampunk setting or take place in the future.
