You choose a splatter of blood in an area or open wound that you can see within range and that fits within a 5-foot cube. You instantaneously move or otherwise pull the blood away from the wound or surface and can hold it aloft in a sphere or keep it in a container. Either way for up to the hour you have control of it and can manipulate it in various ways. If you pull it from a creature they take 3 points of necrotic damage.
* You cause the blood to form into simple shapes and animate at your direction. This change lasts for the duration.
* You change the blood's color or opacity. The blood must be changed in the same way throughout. This change lasts for 1 hour.
* You harden the blood in its shape to near steel-like solidity, provided that there are no outside disturbances in it. The blood crumbles into brown dust in 1 hour.
If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have no more than two of its effects active at a time, and if you use the same effect 3 consecutive times for the full duration each, the effect becomes permanent. You may dismiss such an effect as an action at any time.
* - (at least a single drop of your own blood to mix with the rest of the blood targeted.)
