You point and a mote of volatile energy leaps from your finger, striking a creature or construction of magical force within 90 ft. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw or take 6d6 force damage as the energy within their body threatens to tear them apart. On a failed save, the mote instantly leaps to two random other creatures within 10 feet. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and the mote does not leap. This spell continues to propagate until there are no valid targets within range. A creature affected by this mote is no longer a valid target by this spell for 24 hours.
In addition, constructs of magical force are instantly destroyed. All creatures within 10 feet of the boundaries of the construct must make a Dexterity saving throw or receive 10d6 force damage, or half as much damage on a successful save. The mote does not leap if used on a construct of magical force and preferentially targets such constructs.
