Often known among druids as Claws of the Tuunbaq after the mythical bear-like creature or Claws of Kezef among warlocks, this spell grants the recipient mighty strength and massive claws.
When you finish intoning the incantation, the subject's stature increases as their limbs and body thicken and grow stronger. The subject's arms increase to massive proportions, and their fingers become stone-rending claws as hard as steel. The subject's weight doubles and their Strength increases to 22. They can no longer cast spells with somatic or material components and cannot wield manufactured weapons or manipulate intricate objects, but can use their action to make two melee attacks with the claws, each dealing 2d8 damage plus their strength bonus. A creature with the Extra Attack class feature can apply that benefit. You or the subject can end the spell as an action.
In this form, the creature can burrow through loose rock, soil, or ice at a rate of 5 feet per round or through stone at a rate of 1 foot per round, leaving behind a 5-foot-square tunnel filled with difficult terrain. The subject can dig for a number of minutes equal to their Constitution score, after which they must rest for 10 minutes. If the rest period is skipped, the creature must roll a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or gain a level of exhaustion. The DC increases by 5 for each rest period that is skipped. A creature with exhaustion cannot burrow.
