Draw a circle no larger than 5ft in diameter upon a flat surface that must be free of clutter.
Place 2 or more materials of the same type into the spell circle, at the conclusion of the casting all the materials in the circle merge into one whole object.
The materials must be able to fit into the circle the circle cannot be drawn around a standing object, intended materials must be placed after the circle is drawn.
The material must be in a solid state and must be of the same type, metal with metal, wood with wood, gem with gem etc
while metals, woods and stone can be blended, gemstones cannot, gems must be of the exact same type in order to combine, ruby will only combine with ruby. Where gold will happily combine with copper. Additionally living wood cannot be combined, living organic components cannot be combined using this spell. Flesh cannot be combined even in a lifeless state although bone and ivory can.
the quality of the resulting material depends of the average quality of its original fractions
for example adding a small amount of high grade steel to a large lump of pig iron will increase the quality of the iron. Whereas adding a small amount of pig iron to a large lump of high grade steel will decrease the quality of the steel, though in both instances its total mass will combine, 5 kilos of steel added to 2 kilos of iron will result in 7 kilos of blended metal.
If crafted items are combined the resulting object will be an amorphous lump. Combining 2 swords will create a single lump of steel, combining a gold statuette with a bunch of gold coins will simply result in a single lump of gold effectively destroying the art.
Reversal if the spell glyphs are reversed an object placed into the circle will disintegrate into a fine powder, a kilo bar of gold will become a kilo of gold dust, a sword will become its weight in ferro, a gemstone will become its weight in powder.
