when you cast this spell 4 water tendrils extend from your back and float there. you can control these as though they were a part of your body. they can extend to 30 ft away from you. however if they try to extend pass that they have to combine in order not to get too thin, when you combine a tendril you add 10 ft to your range.
You can use your action to control the hand. you can freeze and thaw portions of them to manipulate objects or to attack. As a bonus action you can move the hand up to 30 feet each time you use it.
- you can grab an object and manipulate it by freezing the water surrounding the object
- as an action you can freeze the ends of the tendrils to create a sharp point. then as your next action you can thrust the point them at an enemy within the tendrils range (-5 ft for the frozen water) dealing [roll]5d6[/roll] cold damage, the tendril stays extended until the end of your turn. if they succeed the dex save they take half the damage
- you can only do this two times before you have to reform the point
- as a reaction if 3 of the tendrils are within 10 feet you can combine them to create an ice shield which will increase your AC by +3
- as an action if a creature is within 5 feet of you and 3 of your tendrils are within 15 ft you can attempt to in-case the creature in ice.
- if they fail a strength saving throw the target takes [roll]3d4[/roll] cold damage and the creature will be restrained
if the tendrils get cut off the water not attached to you will drop to the floor, as your next turn you can pick the water back up. if something freezes a portion of a tendril without you realizing the ice will drop to the floor and you will have to thaw it out before you can start to manipulate it again.
when casting this spell you have a vulnerability to lightning damage and if you take lightning damage you have to make a constitution saving throw, if you fail then two tendrils will fail and drop.
* - (a large amount of water (each tendril requires one buckets worth of water))
