You stab the dagger into the hot coal, then the dagger splits into many daggers each red hot, and each circling you, recklessly flinging themselves around your body, you are covered in a blur of red hot daggers until the spell ends.  Your AC is increased by 2 and as a reaction you may cause any incoming melee weapon attack to cause the attacker to receive 2d6 total of fire and slashing damage.
