Communicate with Plants and Animals

You may spend 1 minute sitting/standing in silent meditation, surrounded by a minimum of 60ft in every direction of unmolested natural land/water, to gain the ability to sense and telepathically communicate with all plants/beasts (including insects) within the 60ft sphere around you. This spell has unlimited duration, but requires you remain stationary and in a continuous state of meditation to maintain concentration, or the spell ends.

While plants/animals are not forced to respond to your questions (your DM might require a persuasion check for that), at the very least, you can sense their current emotional state or general desire (e.g., noticing a plant's slow movement towards the sun, sensing a den of rabbits' desire to stay warm and safe underground, or feeling a nearby beetle's fear of your fire). Responses to your questions will always be telepathic but can consist of words and/or images combined with emotions.  

You might be able to convince beasts to do small favors for you (if your DM allows it), but plants are unable to act contrary to their usual capabilities (i.e., this is not the "Speak with Plants" spell which grants plants sentience and animates them).
