This spell creates a long, thin and horizontal plane of force, 5 feet in length, 3 feet in width and 1 inch thick, that floats 3 feet above the ground in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within range. The platform remains for the duration, and can hold up to 500 pounds. If more weight is placed on it, the spell ends, and everything on the disk falls to the ground.
The platform has a fly speed equal to your movement speed, and as long as you are standing on it, you can control it mentally as a free action. Should you not be standing on it, you must use a bonus action on your turn to move the platform up to your movement speed in any direction.
While the platform is next to you, you can use a bonus action to make the platform hover around you or an ally who is similarly next to the platform. This adds a plus 2 to yours or the targets AC, and you gain all the benefits of using a shield without losing the use of your hands. This may be cancelled as a bonus action, returning to a platform once more.
A disintegrate spell ignores the shield, and if hit while using the spell, the spell will end. Unlike Wall of force, this spell may be dispelled.
If you move more than 120 feet from the disk, the platform disappears and reappears in a free space 5 feet beside you as if you had just cast the spell, dropping anything it was carrying.
