Chromatic Saber

You focus light through the diamond in the hilt of a dagger to emit a Chromatic Saber from the hilt of a dagger to create a shortsword of acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder.
This blade deals 2d8 damage 

Effects:

Acid: The dagger vanishes into a dark green smoke as a dripping blade starts emerging from the hilt and dripping acid.

Cold: Water starts seeping out from the dagger and starts forming a shortsword, it feels extremely cold to the touch

Fire: A blade formed of fire starts emitting from the hilt of the dagger almost as if the fire is condensed and being contained concentrated.

Lightning: A flash suddenly appears and a balde formed by pure lighting is now emitting from the hilt as if a blade made from lighting 

Poison: You watch as the dagger alomst stretches out and becomes a shortsword and as it finishes morphing the blade start to coat itself in poison.

Thunder: Rumbling sounds start emitting from the dagger as it transforms into a warped shortsword and a streak of lighting strikes the blade imbuing it with magical storm powers

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 3rd- or 4th-level spell slot, the damage increases to 3d8. When you cast it using a 5th- or 6th-level spell slot, the damage increases to 4d8. When you cast it using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases to 5d8
