Celestial Shield

You throw a radiant spectral shield at a target within range. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 radiant damage. If you hit, the shield then bounces off to a friendly target of your choice within 30 feet of the original target, which gains temporary hit points and a bonus to their AC equal to your spellcasting modifier, that lasts until the start of your next turn.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the shield bounces to one additional target within 30 feet of the original target (before bouncing to a friendly creature), for each slot level above 2nd.
