You thrust outward with one or both hands, releasing a barrage of lightning arcs over an area in front of you. Each creature within a 20-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 5d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures that are doused in water, or creatures such as water elementals or steam mephits who are primarily comprised of water, automatically fail this saving throw.

Flammable materials, such as dry wood or clothing, can be ignited by stray arcs from this spell.
