This spell imbues your shadow with unholy power. When you cast this spell on yourself, your shadow becomes a shadow. It moves with you at all times, and cannot be removed from your space by any means.
Your shadow acts immediately after you in the initiative order. On your turn, you can use your bonus action to command it mentally; when not given any commands, it does not act. Your shadow cannot raise more shadows by killing creatures.
If the shadow is killed, your shadow becomes nonmagical and cannot become a shadow for a year and a day.
This shadow is under your control for 24 hours. After 24 hours, your shadow ceases to obey commands. However, depending on how you treated your shadow and/or based on its particular nature, it may choose to remain by your side.
