Arcane Tethers

With a motion of the hand you shoot from it a magical tether, while one end of it remains bound to your hand, the other darts forward and binds itself to a target or surface you can see within 30ft. The target must succeed on a Dexterity Saving Throw or become Restrained. The spell lasts for 1 hour or until the user loses concentration.

• The tether behaves the same as regular rope, occupying your casting hand, but it has no weight and is impervious to damage.
• Entities tethered cannot teleport outside their current plane, nor beyond the range of the spell.
• During their turn, your target can use an action to make a Strength Saving Throw, on a success, the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the range of the spell increases by 15ft. for each slot level above 1st, up to a maximum of 60ft.
