You permanently bond with a newly-hatched metallic Dragon.
This requires you to locate an unhatched dragon egg and spend 1d4 days nurturing the egg before it t it hatches. The hatched dragon may be any of the following types of dragon: brass, bronze, copper, or silver. It uses the statistics of a dragon wyrmling of whichever type: brass dragon wyrmling, bronze dragon wyrmling, copper dragon wyrmling, silver dragon wyrmling.
When you cast the spell, you touch one creature you can see including yourself, and create a magical bond between it and the dragon.A bonded dragon can never be bonded with another creature. This spell cannot be used to bond more than one dragon to any individual. A bonded dragon can be controlled by its master.
Whilst bonded to the dragon.
The dragon is an ally to you and your companions. In combat, the creature shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the dodge action and uses its move to avoid danger. The dragon loses its multiattack feature and legendary actions, and if the drgaon has a breath weapon it can only be used once before it must complete a long rest. The dragon cannot be used as a mount if it is a wyrmling. If your bonded dragon dies, you will also die within 24 hours unless the dragon is returned to life. You cannot be raised from the dead unless your bonded dragon is alive and your bonded dragon cannot be raised from the dead unless you are alive.
