You whisper a hateful word at one target capable of verbal communication.  The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or the word is repeated through their mouth.   Each creature of your choice within range of the target takes 1d4 psychic damage.  Targets that are unable to hear or comprehend the spoken language are not affected.

The spell’s damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
