You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make an attack on a target within range of your weapon. Your magic grants you a brief insight into the target's defenses. You gain advantage on your attack roll against the target.
This spell’s damage increases when you reach certain levels. At 5th level, the attack deals an extra 1d8 of the weapons damage type to the target on a hit. The damage roll increases by 1d8 at 11th level (2d8) and again at 17th level (3d8).

Posted May 28, 2023This is really great, adding an extra weapon attack spell for anyone interested in those playstyles. However, I really think that you should either change the material component to just melee weapons or to increase the range to allow for ranged weapon utilization. Just a thought!
