Cap's Ricochet v2

The shield you are using has the thrown weapon property, has 3 charges and regains1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. If you are holding the shield and throw the shield at a target, on a hit the target takes 2d8+2 damage. As a part of the attack you can expend charges to ricochet the shield to hit targets within 10ft of the original target dealing the next target 2d6+2 damage, the third for 2d4+2 damage. Each creature hit by a ranged attack with this weapon must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

On a NAT 20 you get a free ricochet

On a Nat 1 the shield misses and must be physically picked up.
