As you cast the spell you hold a small diamond to the base of a single permanent Teleportation Circle within range. When you cast the spell there is a chance that it will fail. The Dungeon Master determines whether or not the spell fails either by the roll of a die or by choice. If the spell succeeds the targeted permanent Teleportation Circle vanishes from its place and appears inside of the small diamond which you used as a component of this spell. At this point the permanent Teleportation Circle exists within the small diamond which you used as a component of this spell, which can be carried or manipulated normally. While the permanent Teleportation Circle exists within the diamond it ceases any and all functionality.

While the permanent Teleportation Circle exists within the diamond a creature holding the diamond can use an action to release it. When the permanent Teleportation Circle is released the diamond that formerly contained it is destroyed. The permanent Teleportation Circle then settles in the nearest space which can accommodate it, setting itself into the ground and regaining its functionality as a permanent Teleportation Circle. At this time, creatures which were capable of teleporting to the permanent Teleportation Circle by way of the spell Teleportation Circle prior to its abduction can now do so again, appearing now at the circle's new location instead of that prior to its abduction.

* - (A permanent Teleportation Circle and a diamond worth at least 500 gp which you can hold in one hand.)
