Control Illustration

This spell is a magical technique used for storytelling. You create one of the following magical effects within range:

• You instantaneously erase nonmagical markings such as ink or paint on up to 1 square foot of a non-magical surface or object you see within range.
• You make a small illustration appear on an object or surface you can see within range until the end of your next turn.
• You create a two-dimensional illusion of an illustration no larger than 1 square foot. It lasts until the end of your next turn. It is obvious to those who view it that it is an illusion.
• You visually animate an illustration no larger than 1 square foot you can see within range. It must either be a non-magical illustration or some form of illustration created by this spell. If it is an illustration created by this spell, then you can change its location to another location within range. The illustration returns to its original state at the end of your next turn.

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to 2 of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
