You change the water into acid. It counts as an improvised damage similar to a clay flask, but deals an additional 1d4 acid damage. If a creature drinks the acid, it takes 1d8 acid damage. The acid is neutralized if exposed to air for one minute or if water is added to the acid.

In my opinion this is a pretty good spell if you want to get the drop on a npc or enemy. My only critique on this is that maybe you should change the range to sight and change some rule like “you must be able to see the water in the cup to cast the spell and the water cannot be in a container that is bigger then a cup.”
that’s just my opinion but you honestly got a really good spell that by itself can work in many ways.
Should limit the size of the container. Thanks for telling me. Did not realize the broken potential: Underwater combat! Oh no! Cast this on your first turn around your enemies. Or, even just shape water until it's above the enemy, then fwoosh! 20d4 acid damage!
POV: you accidentally tripped and touched an ocean while casting this spell
bro a person is made of water
and it acts as a container
Ha reminds me of a joke I heard somewhere it goes like this
Jesus: And so I can turn water into wine
Professor x: Well thats good for partys and all but is there any practical us--
Guard drops dead
Jesus: humans are 72 percent water
