Chains of Helheim

Moisture in the air condenses and form into chains of ice that snake around the target. The target must make a strength saving throw. On success, the chains are broken and the spell ends. If the saving throw fails, the target is restrained by the chains. The target is restrained until they succeed on a strength saving throw or when the spell ends.

When the target is chained, for their action they can try to break out of the chains, for every failed strength check the chains dig deeper, causing 1d6 cold damage.

The caster can concentrate on this spell for 5 minutes, after the maximum amount of time, the caster loses focus and the spell ends.
