Ayda's Zone of Direct Speech

Based on Dimension 20's "Comprehend Subtext" Alternative version of the spell Adaine Abernant created for the half-phoenix Ayda Aguefort.

You create a magical zone that guards against non explicit meanings in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point of your choice within range. Until the spell ends, a creature that enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, a creature can't speak using subtexts and can only speak in straight literal meaning while in the radius. You know whether each creature succeeds or fails on its saving throw.

An affected creature is aware of the effect working as long as it remains within the boundaries of the zone but can't do anything to avoid literal speech
