A thin red cloud springs from your pointing finger to a Large or smaller target that you can see within range. The target can be a creature or any thing with blood and bones.
A creature targeted by this spell must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 10d6 + 40 force damage. The target has all its bones broken at once if this damage leaves it with 0 hit points it dies in a pool of its own blood with bones sticking out of its body. A creature who fails the save and survives has their movement halved and disadvantage on all attack rolls and savings throws involving strength, dexterity, or constitution.
A spell of greater restoration or regenerate can undo the effects of this spell.
A magic item is unaffected by this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the damage increases by 3d6 for each slot level above 7th.
