Automate Task

You enchant an area no larger than 10ft squared within which you wish for a task to be automated. 

In the casting of the spell a rune must be inscribed in the centre of the area which allows for the spell to function.

The task automated must be of a simple nature such as cleaning & stacking away dishes; stoking and minding a fireplace; playing a simple tune; or other household chores. 

At Higher Levels: Automated tasks may be of a more complex nature, and may include tasks that are more creative in nature. When you are within 100ft of a task automated in this way you may communicate commands telepathically , otherwise the task will continue as best it can without your guidance, pausing to await your return if it is unable. Such complex tasks may include conducting basic maintenance; cleaning a house; scribing in a book (with telepathic guidance); or Knitting/Sewing.

Casting this spell at Higher Levels should allow for greater complexity and greater area coverage. 

Examples: 

4th Level: The area of effect may be as large as a simple townhouse 
5th Level: The area of effect may be as large as a simple townhouse and yard 
6th Level: The area of effect may be as large as a large house or market square 
7th Level: The area of effect may be as large as a main street of a moderate township 
8th Level: The area of effect may be as large as a small keep or castle
9th Level: The area of effect may be as large as a large castle & its immediate grounds

*The assigned tasks may not be combative in nature 
**The assigned tasks may not involve the creation of magical items, potions, or scrolls 
***When cast at 4th level or above a person who interacts with the runestone may change the assigned task at any time
