You target one weapon within range. For the duration the weapon's weight becomes double its original. If the creature's strength score is equal or lower than its current weight it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or drop it on a failed save. On a success the creature can use its reaction to wield the weapon with two hands.
While the weapon's weight is doubled, it loses the finesse and light property and becomes heavy. It deals an additional 1d6 damage and the weapon becomes magical.
The spell automatically fails if it targets a weapon with a magical property that reduces its weight or gives it the light attribute, or is an improvised weapon. Spellcasting focuses that one can wield in their hand, but not on their neck or hands (ie. rings and necklaces) are considered weapons for the purpose of this spell.

Posted Mar 24, 2019The weapons aren't that heavy to begin with, and those that are, are already in the hands of the Strength based fighters.
After reviewing this after sharing, I came to the conclusion it is non-viable.
