Consume Light

Holding out your hand, an inky black effect like a dark cloud appears in your hand. The area around you dims as it pulls in nearby light.

As long as this spell is active, bright light within range becomes dim light and dim light becomes darkness. Though created by a magical source, this is not magical darkness - just ordinary nonmagical darkness that can be illuminated by a torch or seen through with darkvision. If the caster comes into bright light created by a magical source (such as the 20 foot radius of bright light around the Light spell, for example) this spell ends.
