The next time you hit a creature with a melee attack before this spell ends, the weapon crackles with elemental energy as you strike. Choose a type of energy from the following list - Fire, Cold, Acid, Lightning, Thunder, or Poison. On a hit, the target must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 6d10 damage of the chosen type on a failure, or half as much on a success.
