Choose a manufactured metal object, such as a metal weapon or a suit of heavy or medium metal armor that you can see within range. You cause the object's magnetic field to lose its natural polarity as it's magnetically dragged around by a magically empowered gravitational pull. Any creature who has this object equipped will struggle to move and act regularly while it remains on their person. While the object is carried, they will have their movement speed reduced by half and they will have disadvantage on all attacks. Additionally, if the object's carrier takes any fall damage while the item is on them, they take an additional 2d6 Force Damage on top of the standard fall damage as gravity drags them harshly towards the ground.

Dropping the object will save its user from any of the spell's effects, however, all effect will still apply while concentration on the spell is maintained should the item be picked back up.
