Capture Image

You create a still image of an object, creature, or scene that you can see. The image is captured on any sized parchment you have in hand, rendered in black and white with simple black powder and color if using specialized powder. These images can be dispelled or destroyed, but can also be copied with additional uses of the spell. A copied image cannot be enlarged or enhanced from the original image without suffering from distortion.

When coupled with specialized equipment, casters can capture greater fidelity of their desired image.
