Brand of Vekana

A brand of honor, a mark of status, a privilege in Empiria Vekana, the sign of absolute trust from the Ruler Quill, a sign of comradeship and respect, given only to his closest generals, and allies. The brand is given during an hour long ritual, but the material preparation must go back weeks, the suckers from the Grell are marinated in the blood of Illithid, the marinated suckers are then brought in towards the end of the ritual, where they are dipped in the phoenix ash then heated, they are later seared on to the skin of the recipient. the brand has the following abilities.

• The Brand is eternal, nothing short of divine intervention can remove the spell, death does not remove the mark, if they ever reincarnate into another body the mark follows, only when their soul has reached eternal rest in the wall of Fuge, will the brand ever release them, or if the caster removes it.
• The brand does not allow for its victim to suffer from charmed effect, or any type of mind control bellow the 8th level.
• the brand tell the caster of the ritual if they have thoughts of betrayal, or if mind control was ever attempted on them.
• the brand also functions as a communications device no matter the distance (DM's ruling if it works cross planar)
• the brand can also be use to summon the victim to the caster, or for the victim to request a summons from the caster
• Once per day the brand can paralyze victims for 8 turns, they can attempt CON saves every turn
