Make six ranged spell attacks against one creature you can see within range, as you conjure six balls in succession that fly at them. Each sphere deals 2d4 magical bludgeoning damage. For each hit, a creature must also succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed back 5 feet. Additionally, each successful hit after the first reduces a creature's saving throw modifier against this spell by 1.
This spell's range only affects what creatures can be initially targeted. If you hit a creature that is 30 feet away and push it 5 feet, you still make the remaining five attacks as normal.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the reduction to a creature's saving throw modifier increases by 1 for each spell slot level above 2nd (e.g. a 3rd-level casting increases the reduction to 2, a 4th-level casting makes it 3, and so on).
