You cause a thick layer of ice to form on all ground and floor surfaces within 60 feet of you, turning them extremely slippery. Any walking creature that enters the area, or uses its walking speed to move in this area may choose to either treat the area as difficult terrain or make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creature falls prone and moves at half speed until the start of its next turn or until it leaves the affected area.
On a success, a creature can use the lack of friction in the area to dart around. They move 10 feet for every five feet of speed used and get +2 to their AC the start of its next turn or until it leaves the affected area. When casting, you may choose one creature other than yourself, you and that creature have advantage every time you make this saving throw. Creatures that ignore difficult terrain automatically succeed.
Any parts of this spell that are subject to the AoE of a spell that does fire damage lose all magical properties.
At higher levels: The duration of the spell increases for each level above 5th; 10 minutes at 6th, 1 hour at 7th, 24 hours at 8th and 1 week at 9th. Any casting at 8th or higher doesn't require concentration.
