Abziu's Divergent Lens

You form a focal lens over the area of effect, causing the damage to spread out over a much wider area and be slightly out of phase with this plane of existence, reducing its intensity. The damage of the effect is halved, but all dimensions of the effect are doubled.

For instance, a 5'x100' lightning bolt would become 10'x200' area. A 15x15x15 ft cube would become 30x30x30 ft. A 60deg, 60ft long cone becomes 120deg and 120ft long.

The enlarged effect now spreads around corners and flows through solid objects, so no creature within the enlarged target region benefits from cover of any kind.
