Imagine the outcome, wave you hand, and bibbidi-bobbidi...you just bewitched something!
This minor enchantment spell bewitches small objects to do its caster's bidding. You create one of the following magical effects within range:
- You can make an object do very simple tasks, which involve repeating motion (a broom sweeping by itself, the dishes washing themselves etc.).
- You can make an object float up in the air, or slowly move an already floating object in any cardinal direction.
- Additionally, you can magically propel certain objects in a desired direction (a stuck object or body part, a book from the shelf etc.)
- Using this function of the spell, you may also propel non-magical objects, such as weapons or other held items, held by other creatures, either in their direction or away from them. To make the creature drop whatever they are holding, you may force them to make a STR saving throw. On a failure, the held object drops adjacent to its holder, in the direction you choose. If there is no solid ground available, the propelled object drops until it is supported by solid or liquid ground. Items that are directly attached to a creature's body parts or limbs, like shields, can not be dropped.
- Alternatively, an item can be propelled to hurt its wielder, by launching it in the direction they are standing. To do so, you may force them to make a DEX saving throw. On a failure, the held object is quickly launched in their direction, inflicting 1d4 damage, appropriate to the launched object, under the DM's discretion.
You may enchant any non-magical object to do simple tasks for you or others. Consult your DM to make your wildest enchantments come to life! If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to three of its effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
