You surround yourself with three orbs of pure electricity. Whenever you cast the spell -- and on future turns as a bonus action -- you may direct an orb to point you can see within 120 feet. Once the orb reaches its destination or touches a solid surface, it explodes. Creatures within five feet of an orb when it explodes must make a Dexterity Saving Throw or take 3d6 Lightning Damage, or half as much on a successful save.
Additionally, while this spell is active, ranged weapon attacks have disadvantage as the area around you buzzes with energy.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher, the amount of orbs you create increases by 1 for every slot level above 3rd.
